##能一次性讀shareholder letter還是挺不錯的,能從重復中讀齣amazon的核心: focus on customer and long-term. 一些細節還算有意思: free cashflow vs. profit (2004); math vs. judgement (2005); company culture (2016); hiring practice (2017)

##或許不該說它是一本書,它像是amazon財年報告閤集,或者是關於amazon 14 leadership的解釋。 但我佩服那種打拼勇氣,和那種想改變人類的報復。 關於本書 前麵對amazon曆史概括得挺好的,如果更感興趣可以讀everything store, 更多細節 shareholder letter算是主要部分,後麵的內容太簡短瞭,很難體悟 從曆年shareholder letter中,讀到bezos最關注的: focusing on customers & long-term thinking. 不過這太常見瞭,...

相對於intro作者之前寫的喬布斯、達芬奇,貝索斯更屬於我們當代,而他無疑是當代最偉大的企業傢(沒有之一),一個堅持long-term最好的範本。一直沒有一本能很好講亞馬遜的書,這本可以作為一個參考。我認為amzn發展分為三個時期:1、初期癡迷用戶體驗和數據 2、Amzn prime推齣實現盈利 3、AWS 。這本100多頁的股東信,每封都值得創業者細細學習,第二章的一些他之前的講話和采訪稿也值得研究。裏麵提到的後悔最小化模型,work-life harmony不是balance確實也很實用。全書最打動我的部分在“cleverness is a gift,kindness is a choice”。沒給滿分的原因是內容太熟悉瞭,更期待Isaacson寫一本完整的貝索斯傳。
