##讀這本書，主要是積纍時尚知識，幫助平時的口譯工作，整體而言有一些參考意義。 1）以視覺的方式簡單地呈現瞭從1883年齣生的Coco Chanel到1971年齣生的Stella McCartney在內的50位傳奇服裝設計師，講述瞭他們生命中的重要節點。對於時尚有些瞭解的人而言，這本書可能沒有什麼讀的必要，畢竟書裏講到的多數設計師都是些耳熟能詳的名字。不過，還是可以通過這本書瞭解到設計師的一生對他們的影響，以及設計師之間、設計師跟各品牌之間的聯係。 2）英文原版書，用詞、用句簡單，可以通過這本書學習一些專業的錶達，比如，口蓋包2.55 Flap Bag，分趾鞋Tabi Shoes等等。

評分##簡單介紹從20s到60s齣生的fashion designers，總的來說適閤時尚入門者閱讀的overview, 可惜由於篇幅限製很多iconic的秀或者collection沒辦法詳細展示，不過總的來說看完這本書之後you won’t view these fashion legends the same way again 政治經濟條件 個人經曆都會無行中影響錶達的內容和形式，都會影響個人career path的發展。so you will know how the social context shape the path & journey people choose unconsciously
