Despite being immensely popular--and immensely lucrative—education is grossly overrated. In this explosive book, Bryan Caplan argues that the primary function of education is not to enhance students' skill but to certify their intelligence, work ethic, and conformity—in other words, to signal the qualities of a good employee. 评分##刚看的时候感觉很爽，本身我也不是个好学生，还嫌自己在学校玩儿少了，真不该上那些莫名其妙的课。看到后来其实也扪心自问，既然大家应该注重真正的能力而不是学历，那么我真正的能力究竟如何呢？我在对现行教育制度嗤之以鼻的同时，真的没有占它一点好处吗？真的就没有学历比我低，而能力远大于我的人吗？

For example, he fails to think of how the utility of the things learnt in school to daily life. Chapter 10 is a surprisingly large eyesore!
