　　Charles F. Van Loan，著名数值分析专家，美国康奈尔大学教授，曾任该校计算机科学系主任。他于1973年在密歇根大学获得博士学位，师从Cleve Moler。

而程序设计、网络技术、数据库对数学功底的要求还要高些。

　　 但是这本书叫《矩阵计算》，涉及到求解线性方程组、求矩阵特征值、矩阵分解等问题，每种问题根据矩阵的结构特点采用什么样的主流算法。这里包括问题的定义，如矩阵是否是稀疏的、是否可逆等，以及矩阵的扰动理论、算法的误差分析等。

厚实，内容不错，快递迅速。
