In the summer of 2010, photographer Brandon Stanton began an ambitious project -to single-handedly create a photographic census of New York City. The photos he took and the accompanying interviews became the blog Humans of New York. His audience steadily grew from a few hundred followers to, at present count, over twelve million. 評分##去年朋友送的，他眼光真不錯。拍的是紐約，其實是美國人的寫照。真是幸福人人一樣，心酸各有不同。和《西部招妻》裏那麼一下子揭掉蓋布展現貧窮不幸那樣直接有力的方式不同，這本書就像雕刻一樣，一人一人的故事積纍起來呈現齣這個世態。另外，這書也反映瞭美國現在的毒品問題無藥可治的現狀。
