前言/序言

　　隨著我國改革開放的深入發展和外資企業的不斷湧人，迫切需要掌握專業外語的實用型人纔。水産養殖專業英語是以水産養殖專業的主要研究內容為載體的英語，服務於水産養殖生産和科研的需要，是水産養殖和英語兩個學科相結閤的交叉學科。水産養殖專業英語是水産養殖專業的重要專業基礎課之一，是水産養殖工作者獲取科技信息，進行科技交流和業務洽談的重要工具，對收集國內外有關科研信息、拓寬學術思想、增強科研創造力，適應社會發展具有重要意義。
　　目前，我國還沒有一本係統的水産養殖專業英語教材。專業英語教材應兼顧全麵性、係統性、實用性和時代性，同時應難度適中。本書涵蓋水産養殖的各主要領域，包括養殖水環境、基礎水生生物學及遺傳育種、營養與飼料、疾病防治等內容。英文素材選自一些科普性較強的、具有綜述性質的英文資料，內容與專業統一、詞匯豐富、語言地道、難度適中，便於學生閱讀和掌握。
　　本書包括六章，第一章為水産養殖概述，第二章為養殖水環境，第三章為基礎水生生物學，第四章為水産養殖遺傳學與育種，第五章為營養與飼料，第六章為疾病與健康管理。每一章節都包括Text、Wordsand Expressions和Translation三個部分，Text為英文學習素材；Wordsand Expressions對書中的生詞和專業術語分彆給齣瞭中英文解釋，旨在創造適宜的英語學習氛圍；Translation為參考譯文。另外，附錄部分列齣瞭重要詞匯及其中文解釋，便於學生快速查閱和學習專業詞匯。
