评分##Rowling的功力在于把一个平淡无奇的小镇上的婆婆妈妈事情写得百转千回。每一个角色都个性鲜明，毛病突出，但又各有各的难言之隐。

评分##破碎的情节在J.K Rowling的魔法棒下一个个慢慢地星光熠熠地串联起来，不得不佩服她的写作手法，又是一部能改编成电影的小说。这是一部真正意义的写给我这个年龄段（年近而立）及以上成人的小说。国内文字控制太严，推荐国内的朋友也要阅读原版，我不相信那些翻译能它翻译成允许出版的小说

评分##总体写得很不错，对英格兰乡村的社会分化和虚伪积郁观察细致。作者是讲故事的高手。可以理解为什么《每日邮报》书评将其形容为“披着小说外衣的社会主义宣言”。

评分##最早发现这本书是在一家服装店-我妹在试衣服，我看到店里摆着的道具书居然是英文原版，好奇翻看。因为作者是罗琳，所以记了书名。2020年在英国时在二手书店买到了精装本，£3。那趟行程里Airbnb的主人Chris开车带我兜一圈科茨沃尔德时，还特意指了个小镇说是同名英剧的取景地。故事里的那家咖啡厅，据说拍完之后还一直营业着。作为哈利波特系列的粉丝，看到一本由J.K.罗琳写的，内含大量脏话的小说，是种相当奇妙的体验。
