具體描述
A dentist lies murdered at his Harley Street practice...The dentist was found with a blackened hole below his right temple. A pistol lay on the floor near his outflung right hand. Later, one of his patients was found dead from a lethal dose of local anaesthetic. A clear case of murder and suicide. But why would a dentist commit a crime in the middle of a busy day of appointments? A shoe buckle holds the key to the mystery. 評分##總有“人上人”覺得這個社會的底層人是可有可無，甚至自大地覺得他們精英纔配活著，真可笑。最後凶手還“慷慨”地給瞭波洛一個選擇，波洛這麼固執的人怎麼可能被收買，於是凶手把自己作死透瞭。

評分##剛好在等看牙醫的時候看完瞭這本書，不過沒有波羅那麼幸運啦
評分##故事有點太簡單瞭⋯⋯感覺案件復雜程度還不如阿婆的一些小短篇⋯⋯不過第一次看到阿婆抨擊老舊勢力也實在是很難得的（她的好多作品譬如destination unknown和they came to Baghdad都視挑戰舊勢力的新思想為洪水猛獸）
