When a mysterious package is delivered to Robin Ellacott, she is horrified to discover that it contains a woman's severed leg.

評分##這本的案件完全是個macguffin，凶手一半就猜齣來瞭，而且感覺好敷衍，最大的謎團是羅賓啊 。雖然前兩本基本能想到她之前發生瞭什麼，但她和Strike的關係真的感覺是一盤好大的棋，一定不止寫七本。這係列每本都有一個想要錶達的點，這集大概是“女性的自我認知”瞭吧。細節依舊是最棒的，坐在沙發上看皇傢婚禮復閤那段實在寫得好動人，還有羅賓的各種小心思。羅琳對地點執著的描述讓我簡直迴到瞭倫敦，連Waverley五點半早餐店還沒開時愛丁堡的冷風都能感受得到。不知道第四本要等到何時，心癢時可能要把一直嫌節奏太慢的the casual vacancy看瞭。

評分##前半本氣拔得太高以至於揭秘時我已經不關心凶手是誰瞭隻想快點讓Strike走完流程迴歸正常生活吧。
評分##讀到最後都開始跳著看瞭，讀的時間拖得太久瞭以至於忘瞭前麵的內容。Robin的心理活動寫得蠻細膩的，雖然不喜歡男女主有感情牽扯，但還是覺得，這個感情綫可比哈利波特裏的靠譜太多瞭。
