I like to read a series in order.My son is 7 and making the transition from kid books to big boy books with chapters. This cobines both worlds and makes a smooth transition. Every few pages, there is a picture to go with the story. Certain words are bolded and have special effects to make it interesting to continue on.Bought the series for my 2nd grader granddaughter. She loves the Geronimo Stilton books. She enjoyed them so much she wanted her classmates to read them as well so we donated the set to her classroom so they will continue to bring reading enjoyment for years to come.
