包装一般，书运过来有压伤，品相不好。

　除了众所瞩目的“定场诗”魔戒铭文，全部的诗歌里，我觉得最难译的，是看似浅近的比尔博行路歌及其变体，以及卷六第一章，当山姆颓然倒卧在奇力斯乌苟塔下的时候，随口吟唱的那首歌的最后两句。其难都在于，用词平实却含意丰富，必须完整传达；尤其比尔博行路歌，用于头尾三次不同气氛与场合，一种译文必须完全配合这三种气氛，译者必须深入了解作者（比尔博）与唱者（主要是比尔博及弗罗多）的经历，以及当时的心境。我必须说，这一首歌，仍然在不断修订中。
