內容簡介
《清波雜誌》十二捲、《清波彆誌》三捲，周焊撰。周焊（一二一七-一一九八後），字昭禮，泰州人。齣身官宦傢庭，一生未仕。「傢藏故書幾萬捲，平時父子自相師友」。五十歲時曾作為使節的下屬到過金國。晚年定居杭州，「日往來湖山間，把酒賦詩，悠然自得其樂」。此書即在這段時間寫成，以「寓居中都清波門之南」，因名其集。其書「紀前言往行及耳目所接」之事，如典章製度、時事政治、名人軼事、風俗物産等。保留瞭不少宋人的佚文、佚詩和佚詞。常為學者所稱引，是研究宋代曆史、社會、思想和文化的很有價值的參考資料。《雜誌》捲七《使高麗》條與《彆誌》捲上《密室語》、《柴欽奏疏》條記宋、金結盟經過細節甚詳，他書未見，彌足珍貴。目錄

近時楊誠齋廷秀詩，有「玉堂著句轉春風，諸老從前亦寓忠。誰為君王供帖子，丁寜綺語不須工」之句，是亦此意。頃得《玉堂集》，分為八帙。或雲李漢老所編者，亦有皇太子府春、端帖子。康定二年，劉渙奉使入西羗，招納喻廝羅族部。蕃法【三】，唯僧人所過不被拘留，資給飲食。渙乃落發僧衣以行。李復圭雲耳【四】。�p得《劉氏西行錄》，乃渙所紀，往返係日以書，甚悉，且多篇詠。雖所至必與蕃僧接，且賴其鄉導。既仗使節，闢官屬、計事宜、結恩信【五】、稱詔锡賫茶彩，悉用漢官威儀。範蜀公《東齋記》、王聖塗《澠水燕談》皆及渙齣使事，俱不言祝發。渙字仲章，保塞人。天聖中以奉禮郎上書請徹簾還政，後為右正言，又隨孔道輔論廢後事，以工部尚書緻仕，元豐元年卒。
「瀋隱侯曰：『古儒士為文【六】，當從三易：易見事，一也；易識事，二也；易讀誦【七】，三也。』邢子纔曰：『瀋侯文章【八】，用事不使人覺，若胷臆語。』深以此服之。杜工部作詩，類多故實，不似用事者。是皆得作者之奧。樊宗師為文奧濫不可讀，亦自名傢。纔不逮宗師者，固不可效其體。劉勰《文心雕龍》論之至矣。」嚮傳《景文筆錄》，復得一編名《摘粹》，四十八事，如辨碑刻及字音三四條，皆互齣。前所論文見於《摘粹》。為文奧漩，公謂纔不逮者不可效其體。以是知公所修《唐書》，後學其可妄議！
