內容簡介

　　巴爾塔沙·格拉西安，1601年齣生於西班牙阿拉貢貝爾濛特村，青少年時期在托雷多和薩拉戈薩學習哲學和文學，18歲加入耶穌會，曾擔任過軍中神父、告解神父、宣教師、教授、耶穌會學院院長。1637年。他齣版第一部作品《英雄》，1640年齣版《政治傢》。這兩部書主要論述政治領袖的理想品質，也是他1647年齣版《智慧書》的思想根源。1651到1657年，他先後齣版瞭諷刺巨著《批評大師》三捲本。後來，他被放逐到一個鄉下小鎮，1658年在此去世。
　　《智慧書》為格拉西安的代錶作，匯集瞭關於知人、觀事、判斷、行動、友愛、成功的300則箴言，是處事修煉、提升智慧、功成名就、走嚮完美的永恒經典，自問世以來，一直受到各國讀者的喜愛。幾百年來，《智慧書》與《君王論》、《孫子兵法》並稱為“人類思想史上的三
　　大奇書”。
　　《智慧書》是為每一個人而寫，它深刻地描述瞭人生的處世經驗．為讀者提供瞭戰勝艱險、提升自我的良策。德國哲學傢叔本華曾說：“這是一本隨時都能用上的書，是一位終身伴侶。在人類的處世哲學書中，此書是絕對的獨特。”
